IS HOMOSEXUALITY A SIN?Is homosexuality a sin? The Bible tells us that it is an abomination in the eye's of God! In Genesis 19:1-25, the Bible tells about two angels going to Sodom. In verse 19:5, scripture tells how the men of Sodom wanted to rape these angels. And in verse 19:24, the Bible tells how the Lord rained upon Sodom and Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord of heaven. The homosexual behavior is the reason God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. In Leviticus 18:6-23, the Bible tells of horrible acts that men and women did that were an abomination to God. The promise land was inhabited by these kinds of people and God told the Jews to go and exterminate and drive them out of the land, and they were to be cut off from their people. Leviticus 18:22 reads, "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is an abomination." Leviticus 20:13 states, "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have surely committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them." If you notice in this verse, God goes from just driving the homosexuals out, in Genesis, to death in Leviticus. In Romans 1:26, the Bible discusses homosexuality and lesbianism. It reads, "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet." If you haven't figured it out by now, God hates the sin of homosexuality. Men with men, women with women, either way it's sin. I believe that when gays get married, it is like spitting in the face of God.John Hagee once said, "If God lets the U.S. do what it's doing, by letting gays get married and practice homosexuality without recompence or retribution, God is going to have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah." Christians, we are at war! Many people, though, are not even sure if homosexuality is a sin. Wake Up! The Bible clearly says that homosexuality is a sin. I'm very confident that most gays would love to see a gay president. In order to do that, they are going to try to get more and more people to try out their lifestyle. They are like drug dealers except they are trying to get our children hooked on their perverted sexual ways. Why do you think Gays are wanting to be Boy Scout and Girl Scout leaders?? The estimate is that one in three Girl Scout leaders is a lesbian, and one out of five boys that are raised by gay men turn out to be gay themselves. Gays are not only invading our churches, they are molesting our children. The Episcopal Cardinal that is gay and proud of it, is going to burn in Hell, along with any other Catholic priests that are molesting children in the Church. My advice is if there are any gays going to your church tell the preacher, or someone, that they need to be asked to leave if they are going to continue living in a homosexual lifestyle. As for married gay couples, I would never go to a church with them, or attended any church that would marry gay couples. O.K.- I hear you screaming, "Judge not, lest you be judged," or "cast the first stone if you have no sin." Well, Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 5:9-13 that if a person claims to be a Christian but is sexually immoral, greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, drunkard, or a swindler, to not associate with that person. It also says to not even eat with them. He also asks the question, "Do we not judge them that are from within?" God will judge those that are outside. Expel the wicked man from among you." In 1 Corinthians 5:6 the Bible says, "Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast works through the whole batch of dough? Get rid of the old yeast that you may be a new batch without yeast - as you really are. "The lump here is compared to the Church and the yeast is compared to sin. What he is saying is to get the people who are not going to change, out of the church before their sin infects the whole church. I know this is a touchy subject, but it's not going to go away if we ignore it. From what I am seeing, the homosexual community is wanting the Church to except them like they are. The problem is - the gays don't want to change. They are trying to convert the Church, instead of the Church converting them, and Satan is behind it all the way. Preachers, if you have habitual sinners going to your church, tell them about it. Don't let them be comfortable with sin in their life. They will either have to change or quit church, but at least they won't be lukewarm. The church today has become like the Laodicea church spoken about in Revelation 3:16. The church had become repugnant. The believers didn't take a stand for anything; indifference had led to idleness. By neglecting to do anything for Christ, the church had become hardened and self-satisfied, and it was destroying itself. There is nothing more disgusting than a halfhearted, in-name-only Christian who is self-sufficient. Don't settle for following God halfway. Let Christ fire up your faith and get you into the action.
