GAY MARRIAGE

Are you living a lifestyle that is an abomination in the eye's of God? Gay marriage was clearly never intended in God's plan.

The first recorded marriage covenant was made between Adam and Eve, a man and a woman. This is clearly the first indicator that God did not intend for same sex marriages.

In Genesis 2:24 the Bible states, "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh."

God did not say that a husband should cleave, or be united, to another husband, or that a wife should cleave to another wife, but that a husband should cleave to his wife.

God gave marriage as a gift to Adam and Eve. They were created perfect for each other. Marriage was not just for convenience, nor was it brought about by any culture.

Marriage was instituted by God and has three basic aspects:

  • the man leaves his parents and, in a public act, promises himself to his wife and vice versa
  • the man and woman are joined together by taking responsiblity for each other's welfare and by loving the mate above all others
  • the two become one flesh in the intimacy and commitment of sexual union that is reserved for marriage.
